No! I can’t say “as sick as a dog“, not today anyway!

Here’s why!  This morning, just before I wrote this blog post, I called a girlfriend to find out if we were still on for our Friday get together - only to find that she was sitting by her dog, waiting for the vet, to put the dog to sleep. After a long chat, I left her to spend her last few hours stroking her dog, Max!

Rather than going back to my writing this post, I rang another friend in the UK, someone I had not heard of for a few weeks. My friend Sarah! Now the strangest thing is that both these two ladies are very similiar in personalities and my great friends - but, within the conversation Sarah apologised for not being her old bubbly self.  She went on to say that she had been up all night as, the time had almost arrived when she was going to have to make a decision on having her dog, Meg, put to sleep! Talk about a coincidence!

Our own ‘Aura‘, a beautiful golden retreiver, has been poorly for the last couple of weeks but, she will be alright soon. She’s actually only a few months old.  Bless her …  There she is, letting me take a photo - probably wondering what I am doing!

OK, getting back to why I feel sick?  The reason is, because I got hold of a FREE book weeks ago and did’nt really get my teeth into it until recently.  After reading it and most especially Step 7, I felt sick - sick in my stomach.  What I read there was completely against what I believed you should do or what I had been let to believe I should do, in the past … but this new information made so much sense.

This information was right under my nose and I hadn’t taken it onboard. The amount of money I could have had flowing into my paypal account could have been enjoyed in many ways! But instead, I feel sick and all because of Step 7.  And the book was FREE as well.  (Can you imagine how I feel!)

This is a very strange day but, I am going to put Step 7 into place right now, then I may be able to make something positive from  it and treat my girlfriends, on their sad day, too!
